Smart Heart games
Smart Heart, a revolutionary board game developed to encourage emotional expression in children. It aims is to change the way many youth express themselves and interact with others. The interactive game, which makes use of picture and word cards that assist youth in identifying and communicating their feelings, aims to facilitate and foster mental and emotional health, while encouraging the youth to think for themselves and create solutions to their problems.the yuth really enjoyed the games.
Youth on a Mission
We recently started a youth group in parternship with some of the students from Constantia Waldorf School. The aim of the group is to empower & encourange youth to make a change in their communities and also to interact with different people from other backgrounds.
On their first gathering they had a ‘fire night’, the atmosphere was amazing as the youth made their own fire, pizza and grape juice.
A few weeks later at our second gathering we got the opportunity to go hiking at Rhodes Memorial and there we decided to come up with a fascinating name for our group which is “ YOUTH ON A MISSION”
Donation to a Charity
We donated some clothing to a charity center in masiphumelele called "HOME AWAY FROM HOME".The kids at the center were very happy and excited to receive the clothes.Working together to change other people's lives.

Origami sessions
We have decided to use our recycled paper to do origami sessions with the youth, it was quite challenging getting them to do certain folds properly so that they would be able to see what their frog would look like in the end, some was really awesome and other frogs had disabilities, however everyone managed to pull it off and the youth were very happy with the outcome of the session and their results.
